If a collision occurs, the RX 400h is built with a welded-steel unibody frame, strong box-section and side-impact door beams designed to help reduce cabin damage. Impact-dissipating front and rear crumple zones provide even more protection. Additionally, three-point seatbelts with pre-tensioners with force limiters quickly cinch the front seatbelts in the event of a severe frontal impact.
