The folding, 40/20/40-split rear seats can be adjusted to carry a variety of cargo. For additional versatility, the front seats can be reclined to form a semi-flat area. To keep smaller or loose items secure, the RX 400h features an auto-retracting tonneau cover that is synchronized to retract when the rear hatch opens. The cargo area also includes three storage compartments underneath its floor with a convenient pop-up opening feature.
