Charles Howell III

Since turning professional in 2000, Charles Howell III has become one of the PGA TOUR’s top young players. After being named the 2001 PGA TOUR “Rookie of the Year,” he saw his first TOUR victory at the 2002 Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, and defeated Phil Mickelson in a playoff for his second victory at the 2007 Nissan Open. He has earned more than 40 top-10 finishes throughout his career and has more than $15 million in official PGA TOUR career earnings.

Growing up near Augusta National Golf Club, Charles first began playing golf at the age of seven, and by age 11 had won five tournaments. He was named the 2000 NCAA Champion during his junior year at Oklahoma State, breaking the NCAA Championship record by six strokes with his winning score of 23-under-par. The previous record-holders included Phil Mickelson and Justin Leonard.

Charles is a young, passionate athlete with a promising future. On TOUR, some of Charles’ corporate partners include Rolex, The Hartford, Bridgestone Golf, EAS and Marquis Jet.
